I have just heard the music of Anastasia, and it is astonishing to say the least. Each track is a celebration. While the film itself is adorned with celebrity voices such as Meg Ryan and Christopher Lloyd, the soundtrack has brilliant singers such as Liz Callaway and Jim Cummings to fill in Meg and Chris' non-musical shoes. All songs on the album were written by Stephen Flaherty (Music, left) and Lynn Ahrens (Lyrics, right) while the music score was composed and conducted by David Newman (below).
Without a doubt, the best song is the end title duet "At the Begining" sung by Donna Lewis and Richard Marx (This is even taking into consideration Liz Callaway's stirring performance in the film version of "Journey to the Past").
